I BELIEVE IN CAN!

Has love died?
Has truth been cast aside?
Is there still good in mankind?
Why only anger?
Why only hate?
We can rise above.
We can get up and carry on.

Death is the only mortal.
I believe in so much more than the sum 
  of everything.
The heart of the matter will push on.
We shall press on.

I still believe.
I choose hope.
I will not let myself fall.
I am not perfect.

I will not give in to emotions and feelings.
They both lie.
I will not believe in a lie.
I do not have any answers for anything.
I have not the time to dwell on my weaknesses.
